This tree survived another once in a hundred year storm. Council got it anyway.
Picture the scene: a beautiful sunny day a few days after yet another once-in-a-century storm.
Two trees failed in the storm so logically you’d take two out wouldn’t you?

In this post is a document released by Council under GIPA that is worth a read. My interpretation of the two letters included is that Council says risk was not the reason the trees were removed. Which surprises me not at all. I’m just surprised to see it in writing. (more…)
